One could argue that it’s only grey because of the free will God gave us, but like I said, I’m not talking religion in this post. I’m not going to use this post to rant about religion, I tend to be fairly open-minded spiritually, I do believe there may be a higher power, but what I don’t believe is that there is an ultimate good and an ultimate evil, there’s too much grey, and that just makes it sound like a fairy tale. But the entire book just seems to go from possible infestations and exorcisms to proclaiming God is great, Christianity this that and the other. It sure seems like he’s experienced a lot of activity, and if these are true events, then there is some really creepy things out there. After screening the film, Deliver Us From Evil, I decided it might be fun to read the basis for the film and see what other stories New York Police Officer Ralph Sarchie had to share.

I’ve always been fascinated by the darker edges of existence, and have had my own ghostly experiences over the years. That’s the only word I can really use to describe this book.
